Abstract: In the following paper are represented the life and the scientific work of Academician Yurdan Trifonov. The main focus is on some of his most contributing academic researches in the fields of Linguistics, Literary studies, History and Folklore studies which are not so popular outside of narrowly focused specialist’s circles.
